The second event for during Nomadic’s Extraneous Education Conference was moderated by Jim Duignan and Bert Stabler. They had co-edited the most recent issue of Proximity Magazine. Both the issue, and the title of the event was “Education as Art”. Jim and Bert invited a clutch of contributors, editors, various writers and artists involved with the Proximity issue for a huge round-table discussion without the table.

Some of the content from Proximity, such as Bert’s infographic in the SITE Office, Jim’s writing, and my photographs of Nomadic created a self-reflexive tone in that a magazine was covering the happenings of the exhibition while it was still in full swing. The laundry list of luminaries involved in this is a bit long, so I’ll include a link to the issue below!
